Um... track #2 or #3 probably from the Alien Serenades. I'll post a list for the order of the tracks later so they can be properly enjoyed as a concept. Fairly self-explanatory song.

gonzo snow
One I wanted to post a while back but ran into computer problems. computers aren't my strength. Just like gonzo but 1000 times better with vocals and guitar! Yeah! Skiers and boarders know the feeling of waking up for first tracks...

housesitting
Ok. Solved some of my technical difficulties. Here's a track I'm proud of - one of the first from the Alien Serenades of 2008/2009. I'll try to get the rest up soon.

gonzo
Winter is around the corner, and I am getting very psyched for skiing. I sat down over the weekend to write a song which reflected this. So down went the bassline and then some drums and then a bunch of things (I tried to sing some lyrics but only ended up screaming "I WANT SNOW!!" over and over), I rejected most of it and cut it back to just what it began as: one bass + one drums = a whole lot of shred-ready music. dig it!

sunday(blues as a defense)
So we've all had the monday blues, right? well some of us get the sunday blues - which is worse. You see, the sunday blues are exactly like the monday blues - a dreading of the week ahead - but they come a day earlier. They tear into your weekend and ruin your day. A day that you're supposed to enjoy. This song is an exorcism, I didn't want to make it too cryptic, but I didn't want to fuss with it either. It should be listened to LOUDLY, with lots of bass, over and over again. Its working title was "insane march"... that's about it.

step-daddy stu
OK! so, here's a track i've just finished mixing which was recorded a couple months ago before emcee stu took off on an epic journey to greece. It's so much fun to arrange this stuff, add instruments and beats and so on. I really like paring these tight. this one sits perfectly at 2 minutes. you get the groove, you get the beat, stu goes off on how he's the #1 stu on the planet, and then it's over. 2 minutes. perfect. enjoy.

dump truck
A dirty friday favourite. recorded at NAL studios a few years back, never mixed properly. not an outstanding performance, but the essence of the song is well preserved. greg has lead vocals. Mitch is solid as always on drums. where's dirty friday these days?... who knows. I'm planning on getting all our recordings up on the website in full. It'll just take me some time. It's probably time for our annual renion and performance!

dedicated to paul
Here's the first track I did with Stu. He came over and was into the music i was recording and wanted to do his own thing, so I set up a beat and he was away to the races. His mind wandered down a road and we ended up with this. (Some offensive language was used in the recording of this track but no one was injured in any way.)

blue collar life
My buddy Stu drops by from time to time to check out what I'm up to and lay down some freestyle tracks. It's a good break for me & gets me working on songs that I wouldn't come up with on my own. All improvised. All uncensored train of thought. Subject matter and language used may not be suitable for all listeners (SMALUMNBSFAL).

spider
this came out of a recent jam... now it's me on bass, beats, guitar and guitar and guitar. I had wings with dave and then thought i'd put it here for him to jam on. I think it could have 9 lead tracks over this... well there's room for one or two more... Jam on it. Play as fast as you can. record. It's so fast, it's slow. (btw, feel free to add a change/break/bridge/chorus or not)... open invitation to everyone really...
